Barsvet — Veterinary Clinic Website and Regional SEO, Hopa

Project overview

Barsvet is a fully equipped veterinary clinic in the Hopa district of Artvin. The first decision on the project was geographic: Hopa is a small town and on its own carries little search volume. But the clinic's actual service area is not limited to Hopa — it covers Arhavi, Borçka, Murgul, Kemalpaşa, central Artvin and, on the Rize side, Fındıklı and Ardeşen. The site was therefore positioned around the real eight-settlement service region rather than a single district. Those settlements are named both in the page copy and in the areaServed field of the VeterinaryCare schema. No fabricated location pages were produced; the service area was declared as it actually is. The content was built around the equipment that separates the clinic from a consulting room: a sterile operating theatre with gas anaesthesia, computed radiography (CR) and ultrasound, a temperature- and humidity-controlled intensive care unit, the clinic's own laboratory (haematology, biochemistry, serology, microbiology, pathology), veterinary dentistry, microchipping and a pet shop. Each of the nine services is categorised — diagnostics, surgery, care, prevention, retail — and explained on its own card. The FAQ section works for visitor and search engine alike: it is visible on the page, and the same content is marked up as FAQPage structured data. That satisfies Google's requirement that marked-up FAQ content be visible. We assumed that most visits happen in an emergency. The phone number, WhatsApp link, open/closed status and address therefore sit above the fold and remain reachable throughout the page. Opening hours (Mon–Sat 09:00–19:00) are exposed both in structured data and as a live status indicator on screen. The site is built with static HTML, CSS and JavaScript; there is no CMS and no database.
