Project overview
Intenvia is a nursing service providing out-of-hospital intensive care and home ventilation in the Cologne, Bergisch Gladbach and Leverkusen area in Germany, delivered on a 1:1 care model. The site is in German and mobile-first, because many people looking for this service are reading on a phone during a difficult period such as a hospital discharge.
The page structure is kept simple: Start, Über uns, Leistungen, Kontakt, FAQ, the legally required Impressum and Datenschutz pages, and a custom 404 page. Services are presented on six cards: 1:1 intensive care, treatment care per doctor's order, basic care and mobility, handling cost coverage and the transfer from hospital, housekeeping and patient transport, and a 24/7 on-call service.
The contact form got particular attention. It has a CSRF token, a honeypot field, server-side validation and protection against email header injection. No external library is used for sending mail; a dependency-free SMTP client with STARTTLS and SSL support was written instead.
On the SEO side there are canonical tags, Open Graph, MedicalBusiness and FAQPage structured data, a sitemap and robots file. The FAQ works as an accordion, and pages use scroll reveal animations. In line with a GDPR-oriented approach, the form asks only for the data it needs, and a separate Datenschutz page is published.
The stack is PHP 8, Tailwind CSS and daisyUI, with Alpine.js for interactions.
